Privacy
Holler Foundation collects only the information needed to operate this public-interest website and the services a visitor chooses to use.
Newsletter information
When you sign up for the newsletter, Holler Foundation saves your email address, language, and consent in private storage on Amazon Web Services. You may also choose a North Carolina county, but it is optional. We use this information for newsletter updates and keep it until you ask us to remove it. The signup form does not send a confirmation email.
Donations
Online donations are completed on a payment page hosted by Stripe. When you follow the donation link, Stripe processes the information you provide to complete the payment under its own privacy practices. Read Stripe's privacy policy. Website operations
Amazon Web Services and basic security controls may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, and time of access. Holler Foundation does not use advertising trackers or a separate analytics service.
Browser preferences
The page address determines whether you read in English or Spanish; changing languages does not require a cookie. Browser storage remembers dismissed map guidance and newsletter prompts, and keeps map selections, visited counties, and return navigation within your browser session. You can clear these preferences through your browser’s site-data controls; clearing them may show guidance again.
Messages and media
If you email the Foundation, your email address and the information you include are processed by the Foundation and its email provider to respond to your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Opening externally hosted media or following an outside link may send technical request information to that provider.
Your choices
Newsletter signup is optional. To unsubscribe, update your county, or ask us to remove your information, contact team@hollerfoundation.org.
Links to outside websites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices. This notice is updated when the website’s data practices materially change.
